Engineer by Day, Photographer by Night

It’s a simple enough headline, one that I’ve used for years, and its gets the point across well. I’ve got my day job as an engineer, working on wind turbines or robots. Then in my off hours, I’ve got my camera in hand, ready to photograph the world and my friends around me.

Travel and lifestyle photography have always been my main subjects. There are so many beautiful places around the world and I’ve been fortunate enough to have visited a few of them. Locales such as Iceland and the Galapagos Islands are incredibly unique and a dream to visit, but I also have many wonderful places to visit right in my own backyard. Maine is a particular favorite of mine that I've traveled to many times over and one that I expect I'll never stop going back to.

Living in New York City provides a plethora of opportunities as well. Fashion shows, gallery openings, theatre and music events, or just going for a stroll through the park or an unexplored neighborhood, something is always going on. Lets see what catches my eye this week.
